Log into My Account
Open your browser and go to home.mcafee.com. Sign in using the email address and password you registered at mcafee.com/activate.

Select the device you want to protect
From your dashboard, choose the type of device you want to install McAfee on — Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS. This ensures you download the correct version for your platform.

Click Download next to your McAfee product
Locate your active McAfee product in the dashboard and click the Download button beside it. If you have multiple products in your subscription, select the one that matches your needs.

Run the installer and follow the prompts
Once the installer file finishes downloading, open it and follow the on-screen installation wizard. The process typically takes 2–5 minutes depending on your internet speed and system performance.

Sign in with your McAfee account to link the device
When prompted during or after installation, sign in with your McAfee account credentials. This step links the device to your subscription so your protection stays active and synced with My Account.

You can send a download link directly to your phone or tablet from the My Account dashboard. Just click Send Link after selecting your mobile device type, and McAfee will email or text the download URL to you.
