Step-by-Step Fix
1
Open Chrome or Edge in Incognito mode
Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Chrome/Edge on Windows) or Cmd + Shift + N (Mac) to open a new Incognito or InPrivate window. This disables all extensions and uses a clean session.
2
Navigate to mcafee.com/activate
Type mcafee.com/activate directly into the address bar — do not use a saved bookmark, as it may point to an outdated URL. Press Enter and wait for the page to load fully.
3
Check if the page loads
If the activation page loads correctly in Incognito mode, a browser extension was causing the problem. Go back to your normal browser window and disable extensions one by one — starting with ad blockers and privacy tools — until you identify the culprit.
4
If still blank — clear all browser data
If the page is still blank even in Incognito mode, clear all browser data from the beginning of time. In Chrome, go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear Browsing Data and select “All time” before clearing.
5
Try from a different device or network
If nothing else works, try opening mcafee.com/activate from a different device (a phone, tablet, or another computer) or from a different network (switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or try a friend’s network). This rules out device-specific or ISP-level blocks.
mcafee.com/activate requires JavaScript to be enabled in your browser. If JavaScript is blocked — whether by a browser setting, a security extension, or a corporate firewall policy — the activation page will not function correctly. Check your browser’s site settings for mcafee.com and ensure JavaScript is set to “Allowed.”
